It’s completely natural to feel this way — many of our clients have felt the same at first. However, we’ve also seen the remarkable transformations that happen once they experience consistent companionship, personalised support, and the reassurance that they remain in control of their daily lives. Live-In Care often leads to renewed confidence, a greater sense of independence, and the ability to enjoy life on their own terms.
Our Live-In Care team, including your dedicated Live-In Carer, is here to support your independence, not take it away. We’re here when you need us, in the way that suits you best. Your carer will build a respectful and genuine connection with you, always guided by your comfort level and preferences while upholding your dignity and privacy at every step.
The cost of our service is based on the understanding that you will provide furnished accommodation, cover household bills, and ensure your Live-In Carer has access to prepare daily meals. Each carer requires a private bedroom with sufficient storage for personal belongings. While a separate bathroom, television, and internet access are not essential, they are always appreciated. Your Live-In Carer will treat your home, routines, and preferences with the utmost respect. In return, we kindly ask that their privacy be respected during their personal time, particularly when they retire to their room.
Your Live-In Carer is happy to assist with everyday housekeeping tasks as part of their role. However, they are not permitted to lift heavy items or carry out strenuous activities such as intensive gardening, to maintain their health and safety. Every carer arrives fully trained and equipped to deliver support in line with your personalised care plan. While they are trained in safe medication administration per legal guidelines, please note that they are not nurses and are therefore unable to carry out medical or clinical procedures. Our carers are dedicated to providing compassionate, round-the-clock presence, but they cannot work continuously for 24 hours a day. They require regular breaks and rest periods to maintain the high quality of care you deserve.
If you’re ever dissatisfied with our service, please let us know — we genuinely welcome the opportunity to improve and tailor our support to better meet your needs. You are free to give four weeks’ notice at any time to end the service if, despite our best efforts, you’re still not completely satisfied. Rest assured that you’re not locked into any long-term or expensive contract.
We understand that the need for a Live-In Carer can sometimes arise unexpectedly, and urgent support may be required. While some providers may rush to start care without proper planning, we believe this can compromise both safety and quality. Our standard approach is to allow at least a week to thoughtfully arrange your service — from matching the right carer to developing a personalised support plan. However, in urgent situations, we will do everything we can to fast-track the process and begin care as quickly and safely as possible. If there’s a way to adjust our schedule to accommodate your needs sooner, we will make every effort to do so.
As a regulated care provider, we fully support this legal requirement as it promotes transparency and accountability in the care we deliver. Maintaining clear and accurate records allows us to document all tasks completed during support hours — including personal care, household duties, medication administration, visits from family, friends, or professionals, as well as any outings or activities. This not only provides peace of mind for you and your loved ones but also enables us to monitor and respond to any changes that may affect your health and well-being.
Driving is not typically part of our standard service, and we do not require our Live-In Carers to use their vehicle. However, if transportation is important to your care arrangement, we’re happy to explore suitable options. Should you or your family wish to take responsibility for transport logistics, we can discuss potential solutions to support this safely and appropriately.
The cost of Live-In Care is charged on a weekly basis and is tailored to each individual’s needs. Typically, fees start from £800 per week and can range up to £1,800 per week, depending on the level and complexity of care required. Each care package is assessed and priced on a case-by-case basis to ensure it reflects the support that’s truly needed.
Having a Live-in Carer allows you to remain safely in the comfort of your own home, receiving consistent, one-to-one support tailored to your personal needs. This approach not only promotes independence and dignity but also contributes to better overall health and well-being.
